SVST Fall Swim Clinic 2023

Sun Valley Swim Team will host Fall Clinic this year. The goal is to keep swimmers loving the sport while improving their stroke technique. Our coaches will break down strokes to help swimmers understand proper technique and build strong skills in the water. Swimmers should expect to improve their strokes and build strong, correct, healthy swim habits. This extension of our team season is a great way to keep our swimmers confident and enjoying fun and exercise in the water.

There are 4 practices groups for Fall Clinic tailored to those with and without swim team experience. The first group of Fall Clinic is aimed to help swimmers learn the basics of swim team. This session is for emerging swimmers who have graduated our Mini Rays Program (or have a similar skill set) and want to continue to strengthen their transition to swim team in 2024. Coach Beth will help swimmers who are almost ready to transition to swim team next year and want that extra instruction. Participants must be water safe (comfortable with face in the water, bubbles, floating, and be able to follow directions and communicate with the instructor), swim 25 yards, and comfortably take independent breaths. SVST Fall Swim Clinic is not a learn to swim program. We will have in water instructors to assist these swimmers.
