Sun Valley Pool has been the summer home for Saranap and Lamorinda families since 1953. Conveniently located off Pleasant Hill Road, the pool provides a safe & friendly extension of your own backyard – featuring a six-lane pool (79-81 degrees), a wading pool for babies/toddlers (heated by the sun), BBQ grills, ping pong, and Wi-Fi access. Sun Valley Pool is home to the accomplished Sun Valley Rays Swim Team. Sun Valley is about more than just swimming – it’s about spending time with friends and neighbors in a fun and relaxed setting, and where pitching in is the norm and supporting our kids is the priority. It's a great way for kids and families to spend the summer together. You'll love our sense of community! Sun Valley Pool is a non-profit club run by an elected Board of Directors that generally meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Sun Valley is a membership association neighborhood pool run by member volunteers. However we do hire lifeguards each year to help keep our members safe and having a good time. If you are Lifeguard Certified and would like to apply, please click below. Hours are flexible and seasonal. | Registration for the 2024 season is now open.
