Volunteering Commitment

Our pool runs on its members!

The member volunteer deposit is $300. Complete your volunteering hours and your deposit will be refunded. The volunteer commitment is 6 hours and you may choose from a number of jobs throughout the pool season, ranging from covering the pool at night to general cleanup. If you do not claim your refund by October 30, 2023, it will be considered a donation to the pool. Thank you. 

If you do not plan to complete your volunteer hours, members may buy out of their 2023 requirement for $325. This buyout option will help us better plan how to meet our pool needs. Please note that the pool will keep these buyout funds in the Sun Valley community. We had success hiring children of Sun Valley members to help with pool cleanup this past winter, and we will be using buyout funds to hire and pay Sun Valley kids to help us in 2023 as needed.
