Lifeguarding at Sun Valley Pool

Sun Valley Pool staffs lifeguards on weekends from May through September and weekdays during the Lafayette School District summer break when the pool is open for recreational swimming.  

Estimated hours of lifeguard coverage at Sun Valley:

• Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 8:45pm (except during home meets on Wednesdays)
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 8:45pm (except during home meets on Saturdays)

*During the last 15 minutes of each hour there is a ‘rest period’ where only adults may remain in the pool.
