2023 Lifeguard Schedule

Calling 15+ Lifeguards: Do you want to apply to be a Sun Valley Pool Lifeguard for the 2023 season? Apply here.

• If you need to gain your Lifeguard certification or if you need to get re-certified, we will run a Lifeguard certification course at Sun Valley Pool from May 5-7, 2023.
  

Lifeguard coverage will be weekends only until school is out for summer (Memorial Weekend).

Est. Hours:

• When School is In Session, Weekends Only (if temps warrant)

• Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 - 8:45 PM

• Summer Hours

• Monday-Friday: 2:00 - 8:45 PM (except during home meets on Wednesdays)
  
• Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 - 8:45 PM

*During the last 15 minutes of each hour there is a ‘rest period’ where only adults may remain in the pool.

*Regardless of age, if you know your child is not water safe (and even if they are), it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your child is supervised while at the pool.

Lifeguards are also available for parties, swim team events, etc.  Cost $20/hour.  An extra lifeguard is needed for all parties.
