SVST Spring Clinic 2021: 4/5/21-4/22/21
We are planning to have a Spring Swim Clinic! Below is our plan pending the healthy state of our County, Staff and Swimmers. Note that the schedule or plan may change if County Health Officers determine the need for new or different restrictions. SVST is doing everything it can to have a safe and fun swim season this year.
All families - existing pool members and non-pool members - with young swimmers interested in club swimming are welcome to join us! You do not need to be a pool member to participate in Spring or Fall Clinics.
Clinics focus heavily on technique, of all four strokes, by incorporating numerous drills, kicking and pulling. We also spend adequate time tightening the nuts and bolts of a race: starts, turns, streamlines, breakouts and finishes.
Additionally, for younger swimmers, we focus on correcting illegal stoke habits with butterfly and breaststroke such as scissor kicks, pulling past hipline and alternating kicks.
First Day: Monday, April 5th Last Day: Thursday, April 23
Pricing
$150. 2-days per week (on assigned days only)
$200. 4-days per week
Expected Practice Times (Mondays-Thursdays only)
Your practice times will be determined after registration in order to accomodate cohorts and adhere to safety guidelines.
8 & Under with no swim team experience (3:15 - 3:45pm)
8 & Under with swim team experience (3:55 - 4:35pm)
9 - 18 yro (4:45 - 5:45pm) OR (5:55 - 6:55pm)
